November 28 2023 - The losses and trauma from the war are taking a heavy toll on the mental health and well-being of children of Gaza and Israel - with long-term effects on their development. Their sense of security has been shattered. Children without parental care, many already coming from troubled backgrounds, are facing re-traumatization.

November 27 2023 - Ethiopia has some of the highest rates of child, early, and forced marriage (CEFM), with 4 in 10 girls getting married before turning 18. Child marriage and female genital mutilation (FGM) had been on decline for some time, but complex humanitarian crises - conflicts, droughts and displacement - have exacerbated gender-based violence in recent years again.
