Children give toys to other children - Relief work in Lebanon continues

August 4 2006 - 04/08/2006 - SOS Children's Villages is at present unable to provide emergency relief on a large scale because of the current situation in Lebanon and limited capacities, but the various small forms of relief that are being provided are clearly helping the families of refugees.

Lebanon: Help for refugee families also in the north

July 31 2006 - 29/07/2006 - It is 16 days already since war has started; the casualties so far are 600 dead, 800 injured and more than 700,000 displaced. SOS Children's Villages Lebanon is providing emergency relief to displaced people by providing shelter and basic needs.

Children's safety and supplies top priority

July 27 2006 - 27/07/2006 - "Why did the war break out? We were living happily, I just don't know why people hate each other so much", asks four-year-old Jasmin. 15 children and four SOS mothers of SOS Children's Village Ksarnaba have been living together in one house since fighting broke out. They feel much safer this way.
