Rana AlZoubi is the Chair of the General Assembly of SOS Children’s Villages International, elected in 2025. She brings over 30 years of leadership experience across the non-profit, international development, and public and private sectors, with a focus on good governance, inclusive leadership, and child-centred approaches.
Since 2019, she has served as National Director of SOS Children’s Villages Jordan, leading organizational reform and strengthening child safeguarding. She has championed gender equity, transparency, and participatory leadership.
Rana previously worked with the United Nations in Jordan and held leadership roles with USAID. She is currently the Deputy General Secretary of Jordan’s National Team for Family Protection, where she contributes to national policy and strategy on child and family welfare. Within the SOS Children’s Villages federation, she has helped shape the global care and protection strategy.
